c1920-30s ANTIQUE GOWN / NIGHTGOWN WITH RUCHED/PUFFY BODICE & SLEEVES....GORGEOUS DETAILS! EGG SHELL COLORED EXTERIOR SHELL MADE WITH SILK CHIFFON, WAIST OVERLAY SASH/BELT ADDS PRETTY DRAPING. ART DECO A-LINE SILHOUETTE, INCLUDES A FULL LENGTH SLIP (ACETATE?).
CUSTOM MADE, no labels.
Left side snap closures.

Please Note: the only dressform that I could get this delicate little piece onto (since it only un- snaps on the left side) has an a line shape to its cage frame... this gown is not necessarily meant to be worn as an A-line, (even though the skirt has fullness) therefore it makes the dress look different than how it would be worn on the body (more of a straight cut with lots of draping).

CONDITION: PRE-OWNED ANTIQUE CONDITION. AFTER THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN, THE SILK CHIFFON SHELL WAS HAND LAUNDERED.

NOTABLE ISSUES: (REFER TO LAST PHOTO FOR NOTABLE DETAILS ) AFTER PHOTOGRAPHING, I HAND WASHED-& ALL BUT 3 OF THE SPOTS WERE REMOVED. IT ALSO BRIGHTENED THE FABRIC NICELY. (not 100% sure that the slip is original to the gown, as the length does not match up) **PLEASE REFER TO PHOTOS FOR MORE INFORMATION AND DETAILS.
