1915s-1920s Mens Antique Mens Wool Felt Lace up Boots - Shoes Black Unisex 12" Length

One of many antique pairs of boots or shoes I have for sale! Circa 1915-1920s this is a very rare pair of Antique Mens lace up boots/shoes. Can also be unisex. Inky Black colored wool felt, with leather detail. At one time there was deep red colored detail on the toe tip, however time has faded most of it away, ( adds to the wonderful character!) Refer to last photo and condition comments below for notable Issues. Branded “Biltrite" on the heel sole. In their day, these were normally worn with spats.

Size: no size indicated, refer to measurements below: According to the average modern shoe chart (see past photo) these boots would measure out to be approximately a men's size 11… However PLEASE refer to all three measurements: the length, width and arch of your foot to assure best fit when purchasing Vintage footwear.

CONDITION: pre-owned antique condition. Appears to be *wearable. Amazing condition for their age.

NOTABLE ISSUES: refer to the 9th photo for up close examples of notable Issues: Minor Dents/scuffs/in the leather. Likely that these have been re-soled at some point. We have added a pair of New Old Stock shoe laces from 1950's. A small section of the toe seam needs to be re-stitched on the right boot. Some fading on the red section of the toe. Could use additional cleaning on the wool felt inside and out. The red wool-felt footbed lining could use replacing/updating (on the inside) as it's very worn. It's functional as is, could use updating for comfort purposes. * please note: cannot guarantee long term wearability due to its age. Where at your own risk and handle with care if planning to wear with regularity.
