NOTABLE ISSUES-REFER TO LAST PHOTO & SEE BELOW.
SOFT & WEARABLE (WITH GREAT CARE).
Hand stitched repairs:
Predominately at the waist band closure, and the center front bottom of the corset jacket-both at the stress points where the hook & eye’s connect-see photos. Purple seam binding has been placed inside the waistband of the skirt to help provide some stability and to support the weight of the fabric. The left sleeve has heavy brown spotting: from the shoulder down to the elbow-I have no idea whether this could be treated, it’s doubtful since the stains are so dark and there are so many, but
The print helps to hide it somewhat. In garments of this age, condition notes such as: pinholes, fabric thinning and fading are common, but they are at a minimum on this dress. Originally trimmed in what looks like horsehair lace & black velvet stitching, (but a lot of the lace has worn away on the the trim. Only the black velvet and some of the tiny ruffle remains. Shredding inside the sleeve cuffs and collar and hemline (shredding on the Hemline is underneath the third layer inside-none of these are visible from the outside when wearing). some fading on the under skirt lining-also not visible from the outside. Heirloom dry cleaning is recommended. (Refer to last two photos for up close details of the notable issues).

PLEASE NOTE: ABOUT VINTAGE

Please understand that vintage clothing and vintage fabric have age to it, and even when in excellent condition, they show wear. They are not new items. Even the most cared for vintage items of clothing is likely to have some wear and tear and vintage pieces can commonly have tiny spots/marks, fading/yellowing, or pin holes. I attempt to present all damage by describing and photographing it but sometimes little things get by me. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me right away after receiving your purchase to arrange for a return. Items are sourced from local estate auctions, and business liquidations. Items will have some wear as to be expected with used goods. Please read the description and look at pictures carefully as all items will be as described. Measurements are taken to the best of our ability, but there may be a 5-10% variation. Please remember that colors photograph and can display differently depending on the camera and/or the computer.

Buy with confidence! I have been selling online since 2006, and my continuing goal is to establish and maintain happy customers and 100% Feedback rating. My items are sourced from a variety of venues including estate sales and auctions. Some are new, but most are pre-owned or vintage, so I have no way of knowing the complete history, or if the item has always been stored in a smoke or pet free environment (my home is smoke free, and pet friendly). I strive to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and I will always do my best to provide accurate pictures and descriptions, and note any issues I observe when I inspect my items....but mistakes do happen from time to time. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order, please contact me immediately so I can resolve any issues for you...my goal is always for you to be happy in the end so I can hopefully have the opportunity to earn your business in the future!
