1910s True Edwardian Granny Boots Soft Black Leather Vintage Lace Up 9” Womens/Girls

One of the many Edwardian women’s/men’s boots that we have for sale in our Etsy TeaTime shop. A fabulous pair of Antique womens Edwardian “granny” boots. Black with hints of golden brown bronze colors to the uppers (refer to Photos) made in smooth leather, with natural distressed details that cannot be imitated!

Size: no size indicated, refer to measurements below. Very narrow width. (refer to photos for up close details.

Measurements:

-Total boot height 9.5”

-length of sole-outer toe tip to back of the bottom of heel 8 7/8”

-length of the sole – outer toe tip to the back of the heel 9”

-heel height 1 3/4”

-width across the bottom of the sole at the ball of the foot (the widest point) is 2 3/4”

Around arch of foot 9 1/2”

Condition: strong & wearable pre-owned antique condition. wear is consistent with a shoe of this age. Outer soles are in very good condition. Leather has been conditioned but with antique leather it could always use additional conditioning to soften further.

NOTABLE ISSUES: One of the tongues has a horizontal stitched repair across the top (about 1.5” down from the top) The leather will need to be handled with care, or the tongues should ultimately be replaced. Some discoloration in the tongue & uppers (golden brown tones showing through-see last photo for details) some creases, rippling/dents and minor scratches in the leather from years of wear. Wear inside on footbed. Photos also include the bottom of the sole. **Please refer to the photos for further details and notable issues.
